Each of the 17 properties on the English Village estate were created equally. Their original layout was that of a 2-bedroom, 2-story, 1,250 square-foot attached cottage. Each has a pull-down attic matching the gable roof. Every cottage is also associated with a detached garage.
Interiors, while many have been renovated, generally reflect their original English-inspired design replete with arched doorways, oak flooring, plaster walls, and several design cues taken from the era.
